Visit
by Gonzo
Wow. I’m so happy; got to see my family on the real. My parents brought my wife and daughter to see me. Boy, what a joy. My wife looks so tired but she never gives up. Like that little bunny she keeps going and going. She inspires me to never give up. My daughter is a handful, running around with her little cowboy boots on. I could see her little head bobble by as I was looking at my wife. I can’t wait to be reunited, hold them in my arms, and give my family the true sense of security that they deserve and I long for. Just those few minutes of seeing them erased months of heartache and pain; melted away all the shit we go through day to day.
Missing You
by Craig Ellis
Rubia, its been such a very long time
since I’ve seen your sweet lovely precious smile.
From time to time
May I be blessed with the chance to wine and dine
as our love for one another grows into a vine.
As our heavenly father brings us together for a very long time.
Meeting You Again
By Dominic Padilla
If I got to meet you again I wouldn’t change anything but myself. I remember meeting you for the first time, laying eyes on you when I rolled up at the Firestone. I asked you “What up?” and for your name and number. You gave them to me. Words can’t explain how I felt. It was as if God had dropped an angel into my arms. But I was too scared to show you my feelings. There were things I loved and things I hated about you., like how you made me all emotional and the way I felt weak and got butterflies around you. But I found myself falling in love with you. I remember when I asked you to marry me, and when I bought your ring at the mall. You lost your breath and walked out because you couldn’t believe what had just happened. You took the ring and told me you would marry me, and that made me the happiest man alive. Even though I’ve done some fucked up things to you, you still stay by my side no matter what, so I want to thank you and tell you that I love you for it. After all that we’ve been through I know you’re a keeper and you’re always gonna be there for me. Even though I’m away just know that I’m always thinking of you and trying to work on myself to me that man for you. I want to let you know that you’re the best thing that’s happened to me, and I have to start to learn how to listen to what you’ve got to say. I love you with my heart and soul and mind and will always miss you. I’ll be home soon.
My True Love
by Craig Ellis
Mrs. Ellis why oh why should you be so jealous
Because the love we share will never wither.
As time may come and time will go,
I’ll always treasure our love
More than you will ever know.
The Best Ever
by Izzy Traiger
U see what we’re going through, and how we handle our problems.
When we were together physically, we knew how to solve them.
Now I’m alone, locked in a cell,
you ask where I see myself in 5 years? I say, “In jail.”
I’ve always been the best I could to you, but it was never enough.
I could have been better,
I’ve always been hard headed and you’ve been clever.
I want you to know I love you and you are the best ever.
Baby Girls

Damn I'm screwed.
Will they remember me?
Metal door
Tile floors
Bricks holding me back
Stuck in jail over packed.
Thoughts of their smiles
giggles
hugs
kiss
first steps
first words
what am I to do?
Broken hearts
Broken smiles
My daughter left with a frown
How long this time,
