Dante’s Inferno
by Raymond C Debaca
From what I read of Dante’s Inferno, I think it’s a story about changing withihn yourself. In the beginning Dante needs to change things in his life and by going through his journey not only did he change for the better, but he learned some things. Sometimes everyone needs an eye opener in life. If its going through hell to get your eyes open, then sometimes that’s what needs to be done.

Purgatory Realm
I a way I feel like jail is my own purgatory. It’s a place where in physical form we are just waiting to be judged. Just like in the purgatory realm souls are waiting to be judged and sent to heaven or hell. In jail our physical form is waiting to be judged and sent to prison back out to the world. Just like the purgatory realm, in jail we’re just sitting waiting for someone to decide our fate.
My Realms

I feel like I have experienced all realms in my own way.
For me the realm of hell is just being lost, alone, backed in a corner, lack of self worth and loss.
Purgatory is being stuck in tim,e doing time not knowing what is to come.
Paradise: the feeling of giving love, being loved, with my kids Jose Jr., Octavia, Joe Joe, Savannah and just holding my wife Stephanie is my feeling of paradise.
Paradise
by Joseph Schuldinski
Back when I was 17 I was going to my friend’s birthday party after getting a new pair of glasses. I was with his little brother and as we were crossing the street a truck was speeding down the road and hit me. It messed up my leg and split my skull. Lucky for me I was in front of an ambulance garage. I was holding on to my last strand of life when we got to the hospital where I was put under morphine drip, but was given too much. I remember feeling white fading into a place so beautiful I cannot describe. I was with my dead relatives smoking a fatty and talking about life and death. My Mom told me I wasn’t ready, it wasn’t my time, and she slapped me. I woke up in the hospital morgue being prepared for an autopsy.
